NU-CLEAR V2 is a quick and economical way to bring life back to the weathered, faded and scratched paint on your vehicle.

Representing the latest in thin-film restoration coatings, NU-CLEAR V2 applies extremely easy, filling in light scratches and scuffs and brings the gloss back to the neglected and damaged paint.

NU-CLEAR V2 applies and levels very easily.... the process can be learned quickly.

While we love our NU-CLEAR V2, and we think you will too, we want to be absolutely clear on the fact that this is not a "miracle product" and WILL NOT repair every single scratch or blemish on your vehicle. These types of coatings are made primarily for the mobile repair technician, to make their job easier when performing front-line service for used car dealerships. They fix those blemishes that COULD be buffed out, but obviously the mobile repair techs don't have the time to buff every single vehicle on the car lots.

These coatings are PERFECT for the detailer with customers who want their vehicles to look better, but they don't want the higher costs that come with a full-blown paint correction.

They're also PERFECT for those who don't own a buffer or are not comfortable using one themselves.

Any bigger rock-chips or scratches that are not filled in by NU-CLEAR V2, can be touched up after the application, if so desired.

HOW TO USE:

Proper prep is critical, you will not get the desired results and longevity if not properly prepped. Surface must be clean and dry for application. Wipe down with a wax and grease remover or panel prep to remove any contaminants. Clean any scratches out with medium paint reducer. Apply NU-CLEAR V2 to the applicator of your choice. Starting at the top edge of the panel, from either the left or right side, whichever works best for you, move the applicator from one end of the panel all the way to the other end of the panel. Once you get to the opposite end of the panel, DO NOT lift the applicator... instead, drop it down a bit for you second pass, slightly overlapping the previous pass. Continue in this fashion until you've reached the bottom of the panel. Look at the panel from several angles, checking that you've not left any excess or streaks. If you are not satisfied with the way the application looks, NOW is the time to either fix it, or remove the coating from the panel and start again. Once the coating has dried and cured for several hours or days, removal becomes more difficult. Once you're satisfied with your work, leave the vehicle to dry/cure in the sun for several hours.

It does take a little practice to get the application technique perfected, but once you do, the results are amazing. 

PRO TIPS:

1. Our preferred surface prep is to first clean with a wax & grease remover, then a second cleaning with denatured alcohol or lacquer thinner, and then a final wipe-down with medium urethane reducer. It sounds like a lot, but the better the prep, the better the result. 
   
2. If the surface has embedded/bonded contaminants, it's best to remove them with a clay bar or clay towel. If you were to just coat over them, they could interfere with the adhesion and you may see them in the finished product.
3. When cleaning, it's best to give special attention to deep scratches and chips. Press a little harder on these areas, and really work the cleaners into them. 
4. NU-CLEAR V2 can also be applied the same way as our original NU-CLEAR.
